Today we're going to be taking a look at part number KS70044T. This is the K Source Replacement Side Mirror for the driver's side. This is going to fit your 2001 to 2004 Toyota Tacoma. This is a direct replacement for the driver's side factory mirror on the vehicle. It's modeled after the manufacturer's original look and fit. It's going to feature power remote capability.
That way you can adjust the mirror face position with the factory power controls from within the vehicle. We're going to have OE grade flat glass with first surface plating. That's going to reflect clear images. The front of the glass is plated with reflective chrome, and then the flat lens is going to reflect true representation of the object size. Now this does feature the breakaway design, so that way when the mirror is struck, it will come in towards the vehicle. Or when it's struck from the other direction, it will go away from the vehicle. So the breakaway design helps the mirror fold from either side when struck to help prevent permanent damage or breakage. We're going to have a durable plastic housing, nice black finish.
Now this is an easy, no-drill installation. It's going to use the same footprint and mounting points as the factory mirror. You can see here that it's got the studs. We're going to have three studs and three nuts that are included. The OE number, stands for original equipment number, is 8794025551. With this part number, you're going to get one driver's side mirror, and please keep in mind that the power remote capability of this mirror will work only if your vehicle already has that function.
